The Cradlestone Mall in Krugersdorp has been severely damaged in the storm.

A severe storm is moving across Gauteng on Monday afternoon.

A large iron structure outside the mall has collapsed - with metal sheeting blown across the parking lot.
ER24 says a section of the mall ceiling collapsed.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring confirms two people have been injured.
"Two people were injured this afternoon when a ceiling collapsed in a shop at a mall in the Krugersdorp area," he says.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and found that some of the external structure of the mall had collapsed.
"Once inside the shops, paramedics found that some of the ceiling had collapsed on the patrons. Two people were assessed by paramedics and found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were found on the scene."
Meiring says the mall was evacuated while paramedics treated the patients.

Mall management has declined to comment on the damage at this stage.
A representative told Jacaranda FM News to call back on Tuesday morning.
The storm has caused significant damage across parts of the province - with roof collapses, structural damage to buildings and trees being uprooted.
The City of Joburg EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says the storm has caused flooding on most low-lying roads and bridges.
"We can confirm that we have received severe storms and hail in most parts of Johannesburg. Most roads and low-lying bridges are reported to have flooded," Mulaudzi says.
He stresses that motorists should avoid these areas.
"Motorists must drive cautiously and keep a safe following distance. When they come across a flooded road or bridge, we urge them to avoid these areas and avoid incidents of vehicles being swept away."
