A woman died after crashing her scooter into a forklift in Carletonville
on Thursday morning.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says paramedics arrived to find the woman, who was in her thirties, in the middle of the road.
“ER24 and the provincial services arrived at 11h10 to a woman lying in the middle of the road approximately five metres away from her scooter. Medics assessed the woman and found that she had already succumbed to her numerous injuries.
“It is understood that the forklift had been unloading building material from a truck when the collision occurred,” say Meiring.
The driver of the forklift escaped unharmed.
