Creecy to meet RAF board after Letsoalo suspension
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Transport Minister Barbara Creecy is set to meet with the board of the Road Accident Fund next week following the suspension of CEO Collins Letsoalo.

Letsoalo was put on temporary suspension last month.
He is facing serious allegations of financial mismanagement and corruption, including a controversial R79 million lease agreement for office space in Johannesburg.
A whistleblower filed a complaint with the Public Protector, accusing Letsoalo of overturning bid committee decisions to favour property management company Mowana Properties, which was later awarded the contract.
Letswalo has since denied the allegations levelled against him.
In a statement on Friday, the department said the meeting on Tuesday is aimed at helping the current board to restore good governance and effective administration at the entity.
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is probing the RAF for alleged corruption and maladministration.
The Department said it also intends to finalise the Road Accident Benefit Scheme Bill to speed up access to the Road Accident Benefit Scheme.
"The Bill will introduce a no fault system to make it easier for road accident victims to access the benefits without costly legal bills," the department said.
"The Bill will also introduce standardised benefits and compensation to facilitate more equitable sharing of the benefits amongst claimants."
