Daughter of former Springbok killed in horror crash

Western Cape traffic officials have confirmed that a female motorists was killed in a crash along the N2 on Friday.

Tributes are pouring in following the death of former Springbok fullback Gysie Pienaar’s daughter Rene O’Ehley.
Western Cape traffic chief Kenny Africa says the crash took place along the N2 between Botrivier and Caledon on Friday afternoon.
“A Polo vehicle and a Mercedes-Benz truck collided head-on. In the Polo motor vehicle, there was a woman drive and she lost her life in this gruesome crash.”
The stretch of the road was closed for several hours.
Africa says the cause of the collision is being investigated.
Messages of condolences are flooding Pienaar’s social media pages.
