De Lille: I'm not married to the DA
Updated | By Heart FM
Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille says the Democratic Alliance (DA) is refusing to allow her to state her case, amid new corruption claims.

"I'm not married to the DA. I'm not married to the position of the Mayor."
De Lille believes the party's conduct has been unfair towards her and is hell-bent on removing her as Mayor.
The latest allegation is that De Lille solicited a R5 million bribe from Gauteng businessman, Anthony Faul, in 2012.
She has denied the claims, saying all she wants is to give her side of the story.

"The only think I want is justice and fairness. They hell-bent on getting rid of me without following a clear, fair process. Give me a day at trail so that I can defend myself."
De Lille will face a motion of no confidence at the City of Cape Town's next council meeting.
