Dlamini-Zuma calls for ‘dignity' as tensions simmer among Zulu royals
Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma has called on the Zulu nation to maintain its dignity amid the looming battle between members of the Royal House.
Dlamini-Zuma made the comments outside the KwaKhangelamankengana Royal Palace in KwaZulu-Natal on Monday.
"I think as a Zulu nation we should keep together and pray for the royal house and the royal family,” she said.
"We should not get into the tensions, we should keep our stability and dignity and wait for them to resolve the issues that they may have.

"And hopefully they will be resolved without many divisions."
The Zulu royal family has been rocked by claims over the weekend that the late King Goodwill Zwelithini's will may have been forged.
This led Princess Ntandoyenkosi and Princess Ntombizosuthu, who are the daughters of King Zwelithini's first wife, to seek an interdict and halt the execution of the will.
King Zwelithini's first wife, Queen Sibongile Dlamini has also approached the Pietermaritzburg High Court to interdict the coronation of a regent or king.
