Domestic violence charges against Thembinkosi Lorch provisionally withdrawn
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) says the case against Orlando Pirates football player Thembinkosi Lorch has been provisionally withdrawn.

Lorch appeared in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
He was arrested on charges of domestic violence at Midrand Police Station in September last year.
The football star was later released on R2 000 bail.
The NPA says Lorch, through his legal team, submitted representations and after considering such representations, a decision was taken by the prosecutor to provisionally withdraw the prosecution.
The police have been instructed to conduct further investigations.
A decision on whether or not to proceed with the prosecution will depend on these investigations, says the NPA.
