EFF takes Nzimande to court over Unisa intake
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) are taking legal action against Minister of Higher Education Blade Nzimande and the University of South Africa (Unisa).

The EFF Student Command (EFFSC) President Mandla Shikhwambana says they are unhappy with the decision to reduce the intake of students at Unisa by 20 000.
"We found it very pointless from our side that it cannot be that such a number of students are going to be rejected.”
Nzimande reportedly issued two directives to Unisa, to reduce its first-time student intake by 20 000 and to reschedule the opening of 2021 classes.
The EFFSC believes it has a strong case and that the court will rule in its favour.
