EFF wants universities to cancel online classes
The Economic Freedom Fighters Student Command (EFFSC) has called on institutions of higher learning to suspend online learning in solidarity with protesting students.
EFFSC spokesperson Siya Nyulu says it cannot be business as usual while other students are being shot, killed, and arrested.
"We cannot carry on as if it is business as usual, so we are asking for all institutions of higher until all demands of students are met.
"Because some cannot carry on will others are not registered and others have not received their allowances [from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme]," said Nyulu.
