Updated | By Nokukhanya Mntambo
The family of slain Cape Town gang boss Rashied Staggie has spoken out following his death on Friday.

The notorious former Hard Livings gang boss was shot and killed by unknown assailants in Salt River in Cape Town.
It is believed that the 58-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle when two gunmen approached and opened fire.
Police are investing a case of murder.
His brother Solom Staggie says the incident has left them devastated.
"Unfortunately we live in a time that people don't care about each other as they should. So whoever is being killed, for me it's someone that's got relatives, it's somebody that they lose. In essence, we're heartbroken.
"Media they will say it's another gangster but it's somebody's brother, somebody's husband, somebody's family."
Solom was speaking at the crime scene.
He adds that the rest of the family is making its way to Cape Town to mourn Staggie.
"Our family is currently moving towards Cape Town because of this."
Despite his brother's reputation as a gangster, Solomon says he hopes something good will come from his death.
