Former KNP ranger in court for poaching
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
The matter against the former Kruger National Park ranger Rodney Landela has been rolled over to Friday by the Skukuza Magistrate's Court.

Landela and his co-accused Kenneth Motshotsho are facing charges relating to the poaching of a white rhino in Kingfisherspruit in 2016.
The animal was found with both horns removed.
During the court proceedings, the defence team argued that the evidence against their client could have been contaminated.
This after two experts testified about DNA results as well as fingerprints and handwriting analyses.
The court heard that the handwriting in some of the evidence bags collected at the scene was different.
This includes bags that were collected at the scene that were not sealed.
This has led the defence to claim that the evidence that was collected had been tampered with.
To date, over 19 witnesses have taken the stand in the matter.
