The 39-year-old suspect arrested for the murder of Gauteng teenager Likhona Fose returns to the Roodepoort Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Mduduzi Mnisi told the court he has never met the deceased, and denied any involvement in her murder.
Fose’s mutilated body was discovered in an open veld in Durban Deep, west of Johannesburg, earlier this month.

During his bail hearing Mnisi, who is on parole for an earlier attempted murder and robbery case, asked to call his girlfriend as a witness.
He hopes his partner will corroborate his story and confirm his alibi on the night he was reportedly seen with the 14-year-old victim.
The accused claims to have been in Daveyton on the night Fose disappeared.
Meanwhile, the state is opposing bail due to the seriousness of the allegations against Mnisi.
However, the accused has vowed to abide by the conditions set by the court should the court grant his release on bail.
Mnisi’s girlfriend is expected to take the stand on Wednesday.
