Four killed in another mass shooting in Gqeberha

Four people have been shot dead and three others wounded in another mass shooting incident in Gqeberha.

Police said the incident happened at a house in Nomjila Street in Kwazakhele in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Spokesperson Priscilla Naidu said a police patrol was stopped by a woman after midnight who informed them of a shooting at the house where approximately 11 people were having drinks.
She said three men arrived and opened fire, killing three women and a man. Naidu said two men and a woman were injured in the incident.

“The owner of the house, aged 28 years old, died in the incident.”
The motive for the shooting and the suspects are unknown at this stage.
The next of kin of the victims, who are aged between 20 and 25, are still being "traced and verified”.
