FULL LIST: Ekurhuleni announces raft of name changes, including Gilloolys, Van Buuren
The City of Ekurhuleni has begun the process of physically changing street names across the metro.
The metro began the process of putting up new signs on Tuesday.
The name changes include Gilloolys Interchange (N12), which will now be known as George Bizos Interchange as well as Van Buuren Road (N3) which will now be known as Thabo Mbeki Road.
A total of 44 names changes will take place across the city, including street names and municipal buildings and geographical landmarks.
