Gauteng police are investigating the deaths of two traffic police officers in an apparent murder-suicide in Evaton near Sobokeng.

The two officers died on Saturday.
Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Sello Maremane said the two officers, who were involved in a romantic relationship, had a heated confrontation at a funeral over the weekend.
The woman allegedly pulled out a gun and shot her boyfriend before turning the gun on herself.
Maremane said the two officers have been identified as 31-year-old Dalindyebo Dineka and 38-year-old Neo Jane Kgaba.
"The bodies of the two members sustained gunshots and were found in Debonair Park in Evaton. Eight cartridges and bullet points were found on the scene.
“The officers were known for their unwavering dedication and commitment and served the public with integrity.
"We are working closely with law enforcement officers to investigate the details of the case.”
