Hawks raid properties linked to multi-million rand eThekwini tender fraud
Updated | By ECR
The Hawks have vowed to leave no stone unturned as they continue a probe into alleged corruption at the Thekwini Municipality

The elite crime-fighting unit carried out raids at several properties in KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday.
Several luxury vehicles were seized at a home Montclair, said to belong to an employee in the Durban Water and Sanitation Unit.
The Hawks' Hangwani Mulaudzi says documents and computers were also seized, but no arrests have been made.
"There are a number of addresses that we will be visiting today (Tuesday) and the investigation is ongoing, so we haven't had a chance to go through all what we have managed to receive.
"Therefore, there hasn't been any arrests physically, but we are gathering the evidence and we are dealing with an investigation within the municipality and that matter is still ongoing.”
The Hawks also swooped on properties in Merebank, Woodlands, Morningside and Chatsworth.
"It's about R300 million that has been taken from the municipality. The recovery is done by the AFU,” says Malaudzi.
