'He must rot in jail': Malema denies links to 'Cat' Matlala
Updated | By Lesetja Makhura
EFF leader Julius Malema has rubbished speculation that he might be linked to tenderpreneur, Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala.

Matlala is in the headlines after he was named by KwaZulu Natal (KZN) Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi firnuis alleged links to Police Minister Senzo Mchunu.
Earlier this month, Matlala was found with a cellphone in his possession while behind bars in the Kgoši Mampuru Correctional Centre in Pretoria.
Matlala is being held at the prison as he awaits the conclusion of a case in which he's been charged with the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend, Tebogo Thobejane.
"He must go rot in jail, I don't know him. I don't even care about him, I've never had anything to do with him," said Malema.
"So, you take a petty gossip and you come and ask me about it? There are serious national issues you must ask me about.
"I've got nothing to do with what's happening."
Malema was speaking to the media after casting his vote in by-elections held for Ward 13 at Mponegele Primary School in Seshego outside Polokwane, Limpopo on Wednesday.
