Jacob Zuma hits back over 'nine wasted years'
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Former President Jacob Zuma has lashed out at his critics - including President Cyril Ramaphosa - who are describing the years of the Zuma presidency as "nine wasted years".

Zuma posted a long open letter on his Twitter page on Tuesday evening, after Ramaphosa was quoted at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he spoke about "nine wasted years" while addressing potential international investors.
In what has been seen as a direct lashing out and at and warning to Ramaphosa, Zuma says in his letter:
"When referring to the past decade as “wasted years” in this way, these critics saying so within the ANC might be quick to point out they are not only speaking in reference to me. They may even say they are pointing the finger at themselves, or at the movement in general, but I must still caution against this new trend, and not for my sake."
