Johannesburg to Germiston trains back on track
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Metrorail in Gauteng has confirmed that trains from Johannesburg to Germiston will be running again on Friday.

Train services were temporarily suspended due to a collapsed steel footbridge between Jeppe and Johannesburg.
Two people were injured when the bridge collapsed.
The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) had recently recovered the line and had been running test trains at the time of the incident.
The Germiston to Johannesburg line is part of the 16 corridors prioritized for rebuilding and recovery in this financial year.
Gauteng Metrorail spokesperson Lillian Mofokeng confirmed that repairs are done.
"The technical and operations teams have confirmed safe passage of trains this afternoon with an empty train set to test the line.
"Commuter trains are expected to resume operations with effect from Friday morning."
