Judgment expected in Koko unreasonable delay application
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
The Middelburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court is on Tuesday expected to hand down judgment in the unreasonable delay application in the fraud matter involving Eskom’s former acting boss Matshela Koko.

Koko was arrested last October along with his wife Mosima, and his stepdaughters Koketso Aren and Thato Choma.
Also in the dock is the Eskom Project Director at Kusile Hlupheka Sithole, lawyer Johannes Coetzee, Watson Seswai, and Lese’tsa Johannes Mutchinya.
The group faces charges of fraud, corruption, and money laundering relating to the irregular awarding of multi-billion contracts for work at the Kusile Power Station to companies linked to Koko’s friends and family.
Koko is out on R300 000 bail, while bail for his co-accused was set from at least R70 000.
