Julius Malema says denied visa to UK
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
EFF leader Julius Malema said he has been denied visa to the United Kingdom.

The EFF leader was expected to address students at the 11th Annual Cambridge Africa Together Conference, at Cambridge University on Saturday.
Malema, who was already at the OR Tambo International airport on Wednesday afternoon, blamed the British High Commission for its “deliberate failure to process the visa application”.
"The British High Commission has actively delayed the processing and approval of the visa application by the CIC, and has sent a letter of regret that it will not be processed in time.
"This letter of regret was sent today, when the president was set to depart to the UK following a confirmation that the visa will be processed this afternoon."
The EFF have been calling for UK government to make reparations to Africa for colonialisation and slavery.
"In fact, one of the first visits the President of the EFF was going to make was to the grave of Elizabeth Windsor, to confirm that the woman who was at the centre of the pain inflicted on Africa and her people, was indeed departed from this world and that our people can find justice and peace through her departure,” it said.
