Justice for Jayde: Christopher Panayiotou given life sentence for wife's murder
Christopher Panayiotou has been
sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his wife Jayde.
Panayiotou was the mastermind behind his wife's murder.
The convicted murderer and his co-accused were sentenced in the Eastern Cape High Court sitting in Port Elizabeth on Friday.
Jayde was kidnapped in front of her home on 21 April 2015.
She was taken to a remote area where she was shot three times.
During the murder trial, the court was shown a damning video of Panayiotou speaking to his co-accused.
In the recording the PE businessman is seen talking to Luthando Siyoni, who is the alleged middleman in the murder of Jayde.
Panayiotou is heard expressing his unhappiness with Siyoni about the way things turned out on the day that his wife was abducted and later murdered in April 2015.
