Kay Sexwale considering legal action over war room allegations
Updated | By Olivia Phalaetsile
Communications strategist Kay Sexwale says she was shocked to find out her name is being mentioned in an alleged R50 million covert ANC operation.

The campaign, which was allegedly ran in a WhatsApp group, included a Twitter agenda that ensured those involved would tweet pro-ANC sentiments leading up to the local government elections.
Other operations allegedly involved fake posters of political parties meant to derail their election campaigns.
Sexwale says she believes a man she refused to hire started the allegations implicating her.
"I am considering legal action against a guy on Twitter who started this whole thing and implicated me. He is somebody who wanted a job and I declined. I have started to talk to my lawyer about this."
TV presenter Shaka Sisulu, who is also implicated in the saga, says it is fake news and he will release an official statement on Wednesday.
