Krejcir cops deny charges
Updated | By Neo Leeuw
Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir's allegations that two members of the Hawks took part in criminal activities are not true, the Palm Ridge Regional Court heard on Monday.

In affidavits in support of their bail application, warrant officers Samuel Modise Maropeng, 41, and George Jeff Nthoroane, 46, said an alleged confession in which Krejcir implicated them was a lie.
"Whatever Krejcir said in such a confession, implicating us in various acts of crime, is not true," they said through their legal representative.
Maropeng, Nthoroane, who were attached to the East Rand organised crime unit, were arrested on November 26. They indicated they could afford bail of R5000 each.
Nthoroane has been in the police for the past 18 years and Maropeng for 21 years.
They, Krejcir, and Desai Luphondo face charges of assault, kidnapping and attempted murder.
Luphondo said in his application for bail that the police assaulted him at his home before he was arrested.
In an affidavit, his son alleged that armed police were aggressive and assaulted his father in front of his family.
Luphondo has denied committing any crime.
The bail hearing continues.
