Lebombo border post 'running smoothly' - BMA
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The Border Management Authority says operations at the Lebombo border post in Mozambique are running smoothly as traffic volumes increase over the festive season.

The port of entry was closed earlier this month following violent and disruptive post-election protests.
The BMA had temporarily suspended general cargo processing, as well as passenger movements.
The border has also been operating intermittently since October due to the ongoing unrest.
This comes as a South African delegation is expected to meet with its Mozambican counterparts on Wednesday to discuss the impact of the political unrest on the countries.
"Things have gone back to normal, the movement of trucks, cargo, people and buses or taxis is going smoothly with no hindrance" said BMA Deputy Commissioner David Chilembe.
"We are aware that there have been media or social media issues that on the 23rd of December, and the other hand, in Mozambique, they will be issuing direct directions on how things should be," he added.
