Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The City of Tshwane has disconnected water and electricity services to a local funeral parlour on Thursday.

The municipality has been disconnecting services to defaulting businesses and government offices in operation 'Tshwane Ya Tima' in a bid to recover money owed to it.
"We had to cut-off water and electricity services to Gauteng funeral parlour after they tempered with our infrastructure that provides electricity, we have fined them a penalty of R621 000 which will be loaded to their debt," said Tshwane spokesperson Lindela Mashego.
Earlier this month the operation disconnected services to SARS, Gautrain, Department of Water and Sanitation amongst others.
