The wife of Premier Stanley Mathabatha has passed away, the provincial government announced on Wednesday.

Maggie Mathabatha wife died on Wednesday following a short illness.
She has been the patron of the Limpopo First Lady Trust since 2013.
The premier's spokesperson Willy Mosoma said Mathabatha will be remembered for her immense contribution to disadvantaged people's socio-economic development.
He said she managed to build houses for disadvantaged families and distributed food parcels and wheelchairs through the trust.
"The communities are requested to give the Mathabatha space to mourn their loved one and instead unleash much-needed support during this time of bereavement.
"Funeral arrangements will be made available once the family has concluded them," added Mosoma.
President Cyril Ramaphosa also paid tribute to Maggie Mathabatha in a statement on Thursday.
“As a community-focused leader, Maggie Mathabatha dedicated herself to the development and dignity of the people of Limpopo through housing opportunities, food security and support to people with disabilities,” Ramaphosa said.
“Her involvement with communities was a valued and exemplary complement to the work of government led by the premier and the provincial executive.”
