Limpopo police hunt four filling station robbers

Police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt for four suspects who robbed a petrol station in Hlogotlou, Sekhukhune, on Monday.

According to police, the petrol attendants were overpowered by the four armed suspects who were wearing balaclavas and filling station uniforms.
Provincial police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba said the suspects took money from the cash register as well as cell phones from the staff.
"On their way out, they found a customer busy refilling his vehicle with petrol. The victim was robbed of his money and his vehicle was hijacked and used as a getaway," said Ledwaba
"It was later found abandoned at approximately one kilometre from the crime scene."
Ledwaba urged the public to come forward with any information that might assist in the arrest of the suspects.
