A 29-year-old security guard was shot dead shortly after killing a colleague in Limpopo.

He was shot and killed, allegedly by the neighbour of the 40-year-old victim, at Malaeneng village in Dennilton on Saturday.
The two security officers were identified as Chris Mahlangu (29) and 40-year-old Mpho Mothoveni.
"According to information, a 29-year-old security guard booked a firearm at work and went to a 40-year-old man, who is his colleague from the same security company. Upon arrival, he found only his wife, and threatened her with a firearm. She then told him that her husband attended a wedding in the same area. He then left," said Limpopo police spokesperson Hlulani Mashaba.
The neighbour allegedly took his gun and followed the security officer after the wife had shouted for help.
"Allegedly, the security guard shot at a 40-year-old man, who is also a security guard, and then a neighbour shot at the 29-year-old security guard.
"Police were alerted about the shooting incident at Malaeneng village. They arrived with emergency personnel and found two males lying in a pool of blood on the street with gun wounds," added Mashaba.
The neighbour was arrested for murder, and police opened two cases of murder for further investigation.
He is expected to appear before the Moutse Magistrate's Court soon.
