LISTEN: Chicken Licken robbed in Pretoria North

Police confirmed that an outlet of the fast-food chain Chicken Licken was robbed at Wonderpark Shopping Centre, north of Pretoria on Monday.

“We are busy opening a case of armed robbery. Two armed men entered the shop and pointed the manager with pistols and ordered him to open the safe,” says the police's Matsobane Mabusela.

He says the suspects fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
He says the manager was assaulted but has no visible injuries.
“At this stage, we could not identify which direction the suspects fled to, so we are appealing to the community to help us in tracking down the suspects."
The restaurant has since reopened for business.
