Hawks spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi says the man from Thailand and the two woman from China were allegedly involved in recruiting women.
“The man, who is suspected to be the owner of the brothel, and the ladies are allegedly responsible for the recruitment of the women,” he says.
Six Thai women were rescued when the Hawks stormed into the house on Wednesday evening.
Mulaudzi says the six women have been taken to a place of safety.
“The six ladies aged between 23 and 38 have been placed at a place of safety pending investigations,” he says.
Mulaudzi says tablets, believed to be drugs, were seized at the house, including receipt books and passports believed to be fake.
