Preparations are underway in Mpumalanga for the state funeral of former deputy president David Mabuza.

Mabuza's mortal remains were transported from Mbombela to his homestead in Barberton on Friday.
The former statesman died last week at the age of 64.
His funeral service will be held in Mbombela on Saturday.
He was afforded an official state funeral category two, which includes full military honours.
City of Mbombela spokesperson Joseph Ngala warned motorists of traffic disruptions in the vicinity of the Hoërskool Bergvlam.
"There'll be temporary road closures between 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday. We urge motorists to use alternative routes during this time to avoid congestion of traffic."
Mabuza served as deputy president of the ANC from December 2017 to December 2022 and was previously the premier of Mpumalanga from 2009 to 2018.
In February 2018, Ramaphosa appointed him as deputy president of South Africa and, when re-elected to a full term as president after the 2019 general election, re-appointed him as his deputy.
