Former DA mayoral committee member for Human Settlements in Cape Town, Malusi Booi, and his co-accused are expected back in court for their tender fraud case on Thursday.

Booi and his eight co-accused face charges relating to alleged construction tender fraud worth a billion rand.
Booi and eight co-accused are expected back at the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court.
The group is accused of being involved in a R1 billion tender fraud within the City of Cape Town's Human Settlements directorate.
One of Booi's co-accused, believed to be Abdul Kader Davids, was shot and killed in Beacon Valley in Mitchells Plain two days after posting bail of 250-thousand-rand last month.
During their last court appearance, Booi and others were granted bail of between R25,000 and R250,000.
The group faces charges of money laundering, racketeering, corruption and extortion fraud.
