A man died after he fell from the fourteenth floor of the City of Johannesburg's municipal building in Braamfontein.

The man, an employee of Joburg Networks, died following the incident on Monday.
Joburg Networks leases office space from the city.
Investigations have been launched into whether it was the man's intention to commit suicide.
Johannesburg mayor Herman Mashaba has conveyed his sympathies to his family.
“As a city, when I was immediately phoned about this, I was really completely devastated – and I am still. As much as he’s not an employee of the city he’s one of us, a fellow South African.”
