The Hawks have launched a manhunt for a 56-year-old who allegedly defrauded Eskom out of millions of rands.

Michael Chimanzi allegedly defrauded the power utility to the tune of R1.3 million.
Mpumalanga Hawks spokesperson Dineo Sekgotodi says allegations of fraud and money laundering have been levelled against Chimanzi.
“The alleged crime was allegedly committed between 2013-2014, where fraudulent invoices were submitted and paid by Eskom for the services that were never rendered.”
