Mpumalanga police have exhumed the remains of a 44-year-old woman who went missing in Kabokweni outside White River.

Her 30-year-old brother has since been arrested in connection with the murder.
The woman's remains were found buried in a shallow grave at the suspect's place in Kabokweni.
The suspect allegedly confessed to the murder, which happened in May last year.
Police spokesperson Donald Mdhluli said DNA tests will be conducted to identify the victim.
"According to the suspect, the situation then turned ugly, where he allegedly struck her, leading to her death. He then kept quiet and remained with this huge secret in his heart for a period of about a year.
"The human remains were exhumed at the house of the suspect, who was arrested on allegations that he murdered his own sister.”
The suspect is expected to appear in the Kabokweni Magistrate's Court soon.
