Missing couple: DNA tests still to be conducted
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
National Deputy Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya says DNA tests still need to be conducted on the skeletal remains discovered in a Rust de Winter veld in Limpopo on Thursday.

The remains are believed to be of missing journalist Sibusiso “Aserie” Ndlovu and his partner, Zodwa Precious Mdhluli.
The couple had been missing since February 18.
The discovery of the remains follows the arrests of five suspects who led the police to the veld following a questioning session.
Speaking to SABC News, Sibiya said police have been hard at work to find the missing couple.
"The police have been hard at work due to the meticulous work done by our excellent detectives they managed to bring us here as they were combing the scene or conducting their own investigation.
"Some of the people that are involved they brought us here to this area, and we started combing the scene. We did come across certain bodies though bones but with with some clothing, and we still had to confirm through DNA whether these are the people that we're looking for and also to take the DNA from the family so that we can compare.
"At this present moment, we are not able to come to say with absolute certainty that these bodies are those of the people we are looking for although we were by one of the suspects."
