Protesting MK Vets block Marianhill Toll Plaza
Updated | By Puseletso Petersen
Traffic has built up on both sides of the N3 at the Marianhill Toll Plaza where members of KZN's Umkhonto Wesizwe Veterans Association have blocked the freeway during a picket.

They're demonstrating in response to last month's national protest by farmers against attacks on their farms.
The Road Traffic Inspectorate's Zinhle Mngomezulu says officials are trying to divert motorists stuck in traffic.
"We urge motorists to shy away from that area and make use of alternative routes both bounds - Pietermaritzburg and Durban-bound," she says.
Meanwhile, Umkhonto Wesizwe's Themba Mavundla says they want government to launch an investigation into the number of black farm workers.
