Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Mpumalanga police have charged the family of the late Prince Andries Mnagelwa Mahlangu for failure to follow Covid-19 funeral protocol.

The 67-year-old prince was shot dead while sitting in his car in Siyabuswa last week.
Provincial police spokesperson, Leonard Hlati, says Mahlangu's funeral exceeded the 50 mourners limit required by Adjusted Level 3 lockdown regulations.
"One member from the Mahlangu family has been charged, including the senior police person who was tasked to monitor this particular funeral.
"We are following up departmentally because she has submitted a statement stating that everything went well and it came forth that nothing went well," says Hlati.
