Murder accused Zane Killian to spend Christmas, New Year behind bars
Updated | By Karabo Tebele
Former rugby player Zane Killian will spend Christmas and New Year behind bars.

The bail application of Killian, who is implicated in the murder of Anti-Gang Unit head Charl Kinnear, was set to be heard at Belville Regional Court on Tuesday.
Kinnear was gunned down in front of his home in Cape Town in September.
Spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in the Western Cape Eric Ntabazilila says bail application was postponed after an investigative officer came into contact with a Covid-19 case.
“The bail application of Zane Killian started this morning with the defence reading into record his affidavit. The case was then postponed to 2 February 2021 for the state to respond to affidavit, arguments, and a possible judgment.
“It was postponed because the investigating officer has been in contact with a colleague who has contracted Covid-19. The state will oppose bail.”
