Police said the body of the man, aged between 17 and 19 years old, has not yet been identified.

A mutilated body of an unknown man was found in a shallow grave in Kroonstad on Sunday.
It is understood that two men were collecting firewood in an open field near the town's industrial area when they discovered the body of the young man suspected to have been killed for ‘muti’.
While walking along the railway the men saw a human hand sticking out of the ground covered by tree branches and leaves. The men notified the police.
Free State police spokesperson Motantsi Makhele said a murder docket has been opened.
“The body was retrieved and there was an injury to the man's forehead and a cut on his stomach, is heart and genitals were removed and tools, presumably used to remove the body parts, were also found at the scene. Preliminary investigation indicates that the young man was killed and buried on Saturday night.”
Makhele said the body of the man, aged between 17 and 19 years old, has not yet been identified.
