National shutdown: Streets to avoid in Tshwane
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Gauteng Traffic Police have warned motorists to rather avoid streets affected by the national shutdown in the Tshwane CBD.

Trade union federations Cosatu and Saftu members are expected to embark on a stay-away on Wednesday in support of the national shutdown.
The two organisations are protesting against the cost of living and the ongoing load shedding crisis.
Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Obed Sibasa said they expect the demonstration to be peaceful in the Pretoria CBD.
"We urge marchers to behave, comply and be peaceful, streets that will be affected include Kgosi Mmapuru, Sophie De Bruyn, Bosman, Paul Kruger, Thabo Sehuma, Lillian Ngoyi, Sisulu, Nelson Mandela Drive, Stev Biko, Hamilton drive and Government Ave."
The march is expected to disperse at the Union Buildings at 2pm.
Sibasa said law enforcement officers will be deployed to monitor the march.
