Higher Education Minister Nobuhle Nkabane has launched the R5 million National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) youth enterprise fund in Limpopo.

The fund is aimed at providing major boost to youth-led initiatives by equipping young people with skills and economic opportunities.
The launch took place at Mopani TVET College in Phalaborwa on Friday, drawing in prospective students, current TVET students, and other stakeholders.
"This fund aims to support young entrepreneurs in starting and growing businesses here in the district," she said.
"This is more than an investment in the economy. It is an investment in youth agency, in dignity, as well as innovation."
Nkabane further warned government officials at the Mopani District Municipality and the TVET college not to misuse the funds meant to empower the youth.
"We don't want to see this fund getting lost. We want young people to access this fund. We want when we come here next year, because I'm a district champion, deployed in this district, to see them sharing good stories with us," she added.
