Updated | By Laila Majiet
It comes as no surprise that most of the golden quotes from the debate on the motion of no confidence came from the red benches.

EFF leader Julius Malema is known for his witty comebacks in Parliament - many of which have landed him in hot water.
Today was no different.
Malema was called on to withdraw several of his comments - comments which had Twitter in stitches.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the incoming acting president, Baleka Mbete, for having been courageous enough to take a decision allowing a secret ballot.- EFF leader Julius Malema
Next time you must bring breathalysers here. How can a normal sober person say such things?- EFF leader Julius Malema
Tsenoli quickly asked Malema to withdraw.
Here's how it all unfolded.
This was followed by yet another request for Malema to withdraw his comments, to which he cleverly responded:
I withdraw. I want to vote a crook out.- EFF leader Julius Malema

Agang MP Andries Tlouamma also knows how to entertain.
With his countless scandals, he (Zuma) can win awards in prison.- Agang MP Andries Tlouamma
Tlouamma even threw in a AC/DC reference.

Lastly - the ANC who essentially had the final say as the majority.
