No mayoral car for Vhembe

Vhembe mayor Florence Radzilani has vowed to channel over R1.5million budgeted for her official car to address water challenges. The ANC's Radzilani has reflected on her first 100 days in office, saying more needs to be done to mitigate the ongoing drought.

The ANC's Radzilani has reflected on her first 100 days in office, saying more needs to be done to mitigate the ongoing drought.
The municipality has spent more than R43million on the maintenance of water infrastructure.
The mayor briefed this media in Thohoyandou this morning on the progress she's made since taking office.
Radzilani says the municipality has worked on achieving financial stability.

She insists municipal workers have all been paid on time.
Her comments come after reports that the municipality failed to pay staff on time. This in turn led to political instability and the firing of the municipal manager.
