NPA to challenge Magudumana's bail bid
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The National Prosecuting Authority in the Free State says it will oppose Dr Nandipha Magudumana's bail application.

She'll petition the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
Magudumana is accused of helping convicted rapist and killer Thabo Bester escape prison in May 2022.
In July, the High Court dismissed her application for leave to appeal a ruling on her April arrest and deportation from Tanzania.
"I can confirm Magudumana has launched an application to be released on bail, and it is set for Tuesday and Wednesday, and NPA will oppose the releasing of her on bail,” said NPA provincial spokesperson Phaladi Shuping.
