Olorato Mongale murder probe stretches to Durban, one arrest
Updated | By Newswatch
The search for clues in the murder of 30-year-old Olorato Mongale has led crime intelligence teams to Durban.

They have discovered a car, believed to have been used by the 30-year-old's killers, at a panel beater's workshop in Phoenix, north of the city.
Detectives have now released photos of their prime suspects: two men who they have described as dangerous.
Mongale was picked up from her complex in Johannesburg on Sunday afternoon, after making arrangements to go on a date with a man known only as 'John'.
Her body was found less than two hours later in Lombardy West.
National police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says their anti-kidnapping unit tracked the suspects from a lodge in Joburg's Kew area, to the home of one of the men in KwaMashu.
"The suspects' vehicle [a white VW polo] was later found at a panel beater workshop in Phoenix. Upon inspection by SAPS forensic experts, traces of blood were found inside the vehicle.
"An elderly man believed to be the owner of the vehicle has been arrested but we are looking for two men believed to have been involved in the murder of Olorato."
Mathe says the focus is now on tracking them down.
"We are looking for Fezile Ngubane and Philangenkosi Sibongokuhle Makhanya. The pair is considered to be dangerous, and members of the public are cautioned not to come near them."
If seen, immediately call Brigadier Nama on +27 (82) 778-9035.
