One killed in collision between two trucks on N14 near Diepsloot

At least one person has been killed in a crash involving two trucks on the N14 near Diepsloot, north west of Johannesburg.

The two trucks collided between the R55 and R511 early on Tuesday morning.
Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Obed Sibasa says some of the victims were trapped in the wreckage.
"Two trucks involved, one person died on impact, and some are still trapped in the ruck, the number might change. Traffic direction to Tshwane is badly affected and only one lane opened, the cause of the accident is unknown.
"However, police are dealing with the reconstruction of the accident. No arrests have been made but investigation continue."
Sibasa says the death toll is expected to increase.
