Over 200 new Covid-19 deaths in SA

South Africa has recorded another 210 Covid-19 related deaths in its second wave of the deadly coronavirus.

In his latest report released on Tuesay evening, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says that the total number of fatalities has increased to 23 661.
Of the latest fatalities, the majority - 95 - were once again recorded in the Eastern Cape.
That is followed by the Western Cape with 70 deaths and KwaZulu Natal with 23.

New infections have meanwhile risen by 7 552.
As of Tuesday, the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases stands at 873 679 with the recoveries now at 764 977.
