Planned power outage in Hatfield on Monday
Updated | By Selaki Ledwaba
The City of Tshwane has warned residents of a planned power outage on Monday between 8 am and 4 pm.

The eight-hour power shutdown is due to planned maintenance at a mini substation in the Agricultural Research Council premises in Hatfield.
“On this day, the city’s technicians will replace a burnt switching component inside the mini substation,” said city spokesperson Lindela Mashego.
Burnett Street, Duncan Street, Grosvenor Street, Park Street, Agricultural Research Council, and Iparioli Business Park will be affected by the scheduled shutdown.
Mashego warned residents to treat all electricity supply points as live.
